The Board of Directors of the Naperville Area Chamber Political Action Committee has offered endorsements to candidates running for local office in the April 4, 2017 Consolidated General Election. To make its endorsement decision, the NACPAC board invited all candidates to submit a written statement and sit for an individual interview session. The 2017 endorsed candidates are:

Indian Prairie School District 204 Board of Education. Four Year Term. Four Openings:

Cathy Piehl, incumbent member of the Board (’08), social worker and community volunteer;

Vasavi Chakka, challenger, former president of the PTSA, community volunteer and member of the Naperville Sister Cities Commission;

Laurie Donahue, challenger, local business executive and member of a community bank board of directors, and community volunteer; and

Susan Taylor-Demming, challenger, longtime active PTA member and former president, and former sales and marketing executive.
