The Naperville Area Chamber Political Action Committee (NACPAC) is an organization of independent businesses that have banded together to have an impact in our region’s local and state elections. Many supporters and individuals involved with NACPAC are active members of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and served in leadership roles within the Chamber. However, NACPAC and the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce are independent legal entities.

NACPAC is a registered Political Action Committee with the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The purpose of the Naperville Area Chamber PAC is to provide a venue for Chamber members to collectively participate in the political process, by offering support to the campaigns of candidates who share a business orientation and commitment to the economic growth and prosperity of the greater Naperville region.

In making the endorsements and determinations of support, the Board of Directors of NACPAC engages directly with the candidates to learn where they stand on the issues that will impact economic growth, private sector job creation and free enterprise.

Local businesses choose to support NACPAC because, they believe it’s critical that job creators have a voice in our local, regional and state elections. Rhetoric is easy, votes are difficult.

NACPAC exists to ensure that local, regional and state officials, who levy billions in taxes each year, have a fundamental understanding of how government impacts our business climate.

NACPAC is one of only a few independent, non-partisan organizations to be engaged in local elections.

NACPAC collects voluntary contributions from members and non-members of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce for state and local political activities. Contributions are voluntary and refusal to contribute does not affect membership rights in the Chamber.
